We believe each person is a beloved child of God, made in God’s own image and an essential part of the church – the body of Christ.
At Jubilee we want everyone to be seen, heard, able to belong, and able to join in.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

At Jubilee we want everyone to be seen, heard, able to belong, and able to join in.
22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts we think are less honourable we treat with special honour… 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that it’s parts should have equal concern for each other.
We acknowledge that attending church can present barriers for some children and adults with additional needs. Over a number of years we've developed programmes to help families feel welcome and included.
To help parents and carers prepare their children, we've developed a number of visual schedules...
When we have an 'All Age service' there will usually be a visual schedule available in the weekly newsletter before the Sunday, and printed copies available on the morning.
We have a dedicated team to serve those with additional needs, helping them access and feel included.
A free 4-week Growing Hope course for parents and carers of children with additional needs. It helps process emotional changes, manage grief, and identify support networks – exploring new hopes for their families in a safe space. (Details below)
We also run a support group for parents of children with additional needs. It can be a lifeline. (SOFA group details below)
Nikki is our Accessibility Champion, she also manages the Growing Hope Clinic, a charity providing therapy and support to children with additional needs and their families. If you would like to talk about anything that will help you feel welcome and comfortable at Jubilee please do contact Nicki.
I love supporting kids ... ... they are so awesome!

Lots of children with additional needs don’t have access to the therapy they need to reach their full potential. Growing Hope Farnham runs in collaboration with Jubilee Church, Farnham, with a vision to see all children and families thrive.

When Dreams Change is a four-week course that aims to help parents and carers reflect on their experience of having a child with additional needs, and to become more of the person they have been created to be. We have found this course to be of great benefit to parents and carers.

Support for Families with Additional Needs. The aim of this group is to facilitate connection between parents who can relate to each others parenting journey/life; to support each other through the many challenges that come with having children who need extra support and understanding.
The care and protection of children, young people, and adults involved in church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the church. At Jubilee, all our leaders complete safeguarding training and are DBS checked. We also aim to have a First Aid trained team member in our groups.
